Glaucoma Associates of Texas (GAT)
We understand that facing specialized eye care or eye surgery can create anxiety.
Each of our physicians have extensive, additional training to attain special expertise
in the comprehensive management of glaucoma. Our physicians limit their practice to the care
of glaucoma patients and work as a team to diagnose rare types of glaucoma and unusual
conditions associated with it.
If you have glaucoma, you and your physician should
work together to protect your vision in the years ahead. With early diagnosis and therapy, such as
eye drops or
surgery, glaucoma rarely leads to blindness.
Early testing and an accurate diagnosis, along with
long term treatment, are the keys to
maintaining your vision. Some of your questions about glaucoma may be answered
on our Glaucoma Information page. You can also learn the
terms that may pertain to you and your glaucoma here,
or review some brief glaucoma definitions
on our website.
You may visit our office
for a thorough evaluation. Please feel free to review the
New Patient Information section so that you are more informed
before your appointment. You can read our
Privacy Notice (this page will open in a new Web browser).
Take good care of yourself and your eyes. Don't let
glaucoma limit your life.
