G. Godfrey, M.D.
Dr. Godfrey joined Glaucoma Associates of Texas after completing a fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. Recently ranked as the #1 eye hospital in the United States, Bascom Palmer allowed Dr. Godfrey to receive extensive training in medical and surgical management of glaucoma, bringing the latest techniques to Dallas.
Dr. Godfrey was a resident at the well-known Emory University Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident during his last year in Atlanta.
Dr. Godfrey serves as clinical assistant professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His research interests include glaucoma drainage implants for refractory glaucoma.
On a personal note, Dr. Godfrey enjoys spending time with his family and church as well as pursuing his hobbies of skiing, water sports, music, and travel.
