Dr. Helen Kornmann is a fellowship-trained glaucoma clinician and surgeon who is excited to be part of the Glaucoma Associates of Texas.

As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology, she was actively involved in the clinical and surgical training of ophthalmology residents and glaucoma fellows, as well as caring for complex glaucoma patients. During her tenure at Bascom Palmer, Dr. Kornmann also published several papers, served as a reviewer for the journal Ophthalmology, and has been a presenter and panel member at numerous national meetings, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
On a personal note, Dr. Kornmann loves spending time with family, finding new outlets for creativity, experiencing new cultures and foods, and traveling. Although a native Southern Californian, she is happy to call Texas her new home!
