Dr. Khan obtained his MD from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine in 1984. He completed a 3-year ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the New England Glaucoma Research Foundation in Boston. He has over 30 years of experience as a practicing ophthalmologist with an emphasis on the surgical and medical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. He has lectured extensively on a wide range of ophthalmological topics as well as the intersection of law and medicine.
